What is Holistic Therapy?

Holistic Therapy is the integration of body-mind philosophy, tools, and methods during a healing process. In my holistic practice:

1) I consider how the body is affected during any level of stressor,

2) I consider how the body and mind need to work together in healing, and

3) I incorporate emotional, mental, spiritual and relational components in the healing process.

As part of a thorough assessment, I use the Wheel of Life Questionnaire* for Individuals and Relationships. This assessment measures how fulfilled a person or a couple are in the five major aspects of life (Physical, Mental, Emotional, Spiritual, and Relational). Once completed, the results are placed on a Wheel of Life Chart. Anything rated 6 or below in fulfillment is highlighted as an area that needs support.
